Partnership members are expected to give efficient support or make an immediate contribution to functioning of the four technical committees. This kind of participation may be reflected in the activities as follows: Development of precise mechanisms to be used for assessment of methane emissions and identification of the largest methane emission sources subject to projecting. Determination of profitable potentialities for regeneration of emitted methane for the purpose of power generation and institution of potential project financing mechanisms Identification and removal of obstacles preventing from development of projects, as well as improvement of legal, regulative, financial, institutional, technological and other conditions for the purpose of funding of methane regeneration and utilization projects Estimation and implementation of joint projects for the purpose of resolving the problems related to the process of methane regeneration Contribution to accumulation of resources and transfer of technology What advantages have any member of Partnership? Methane (ÑÍ4) or hydrocarbon is a natural gas core component. This document also covers the activities related to the following events to be held by Partnership: Determination of profitable emitted methane regeneration potential for the purpose of production of energy and arrangement of potential investment mobilization mechanism; Detection and removal of obstacles preventing from development of projects and improvement of legal, regulative, financial, institutional and other conditions subject to mobilization of methane regeneration and utilization projected investment; Consolidation with private sector, research organizations, development banks and other respective governmental and nongovernmental organizations; Assistance in identification and promotion of selective management practice conducted in the field of methane regeneration and utilization; Activity for the purpose of advancing of scientific comprehension and achievement of clarity on the matters of methane regeneration and utilization; Development of actual programs containing a number of certain measures for support major goals and functions of Partnership; Development and implementation of work data estimating and reporting programs; besides, the partners representing industrially developed countries shall assist both the developing countries and the ones with transient economy in promotion of any methane regeneration project, while providing technical support and facilitating introduction of new technologies. Can private sector and nongovernmental organizations take part in Partnership on the matters of market propagation of methane projects? Active participation of private sector, financial and other nongovernmental organizations is the matter of great importance for development of capacities, transfer of technologies and stimulation of investment activity facilitating Partnership progress. Project Network is a mechanism to be used for motivation of membership, as well as for realization of potentialities related to implementation of cooperation projects.
