Within the bounds of Federal Task Program of 2007-2012 devoted to the matters of “Power Engineering” and “Conservation”, the seminar on the subject of multipurpose utilization of wastes and recoverable resources within the territory of Russian Federation was held.

National Informational-and-Analytical Center of Energy-and-Resource Technologies;
Fund “Economical Research and Information Dissemination Center “Open Economy”;
At the above seminar, Manager of Energy-and-Resource Technologies Department, B.F. Reutov was the participant, who represented Federal Science and Innovation Agency.
Seminar objective: analysis of work results and assessment of basic barriers in the field of utilization of wastes and recoverable resources within the bounds of Federal Task Program of 2007-2012 devoted to the matters of “Power Engineering and Conservation”.
Seminar covered the following problematic questions:

Analysis of results gained in the field of multipurpose utilization of wastes and recoverable resources within the bounds of Federal Task Scientific and Technical Program of 2005-2006 devoted to the matters of “Power Engineering” and “Conservation”;

Advanced technologies and developments in the field of multipurpose utilization of wastes and recoverable resources within the bounds of Federal Task Program “R&D activity to be considered in terms of prioritized trends of Russian Federation scientific-and-technological complex development within the period of 2007-2012”.

Assessment of technological, economical and administrative-regulative benefits and basic barriers that may influence any activity with respect to multi-purpose utilization of wastes and recoverable resources.

Harmonization of Russian Federation regulative base with international codes in terms of treatment of wastes and recoverable resources.
In the course of discussion of the aforesaid questions, the following Russian experts stated their positions:

Pantzkhava E.S – (Doctor of Life Sciences, Deputy General Director, Center “EcoRos”): subject “Russian Federation Agricultural Sector”;
Teplyakov V.V – (Professor, the A.V. Topchiyev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis, RAS, Moscow): subject “Problems of biomass-generated energy resources”.
